I honestly hate bananas. But I freaking love Banana Bread. Here is my favorite recipe for one of my favorite treats. Hope you enjoy!

I started making banana bread when I was 16 years old because I learned that bananas are a great source of potassium. I figured I wouldn't mind eating a banana if it was coated in sugar and butter then baked into bread! I still love making banana bread and I will often gift a loaf to friends and family.

I love to trick myself into thinking this is a healthy recipe.

This was one of my first videos (oh young Allie you have so much to learn) and I had so much fun making it! I hope you enjoy making this in your home. When you do snap a photo and tag #funwiththefelkers to share the love!

Recipe

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F

Place 4 bananas in the oven for 10-15 minutes (until brown)

In a large bowl combine:

1/2 Cup Butter

1 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs

4 Ripened Bananas

(set oven to 350)

In a small bowl combine:

1 1/2 Cup Flour

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1/2 Tsp Salt

Add the flour mixture to the sugar/banana mixture slowly

Stir in:

1/2 Tsp Vanilla

Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (However much you want!)

Bake at 350 for 55 minutes

Set on rack to cool. Remove from pan and enjoy!
